Love Grows Here
"It is by this that every one will know that you are my disciples--if you love one another." (John 13:35 Weymouth)
Realizing that all humans are in need of love, yet tend to be selfish with it, our church family has decided to make this phrase our motto: Love grows here. With this decision, we hope to keep before us the character-changing images of Jesus visiting with the children, Jesus laboring with the masses, Jesus agonizing in Gethsemene.
We like the kind of person Jesus is and want to pattern our thinking after His. Only in keeping our eyes fixed on these images can we have confidence that "all of us...are being changed into likeness to Him..." (2 Corinthians 3:18 Goodspeed)
